We encourage open, free and fair use of the framework for academia and non-profit research. Commercial applications are subject to licensing agreements - please contact us directly at [email protected] to find out more. The core software library is under the Apache 2.0 Open-Source license. This was chosen to allow derivations of our software implementation to be created freely and then distributed under different permissions. You may obtain a copy of the License at http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0. The Wiki and Documentation is under the MIT Open-Source license. This was chosen as knowledge shared in this manner can be used in many number of forms and we cannot impose requirements on subsequent derivations. For example, a medical research group may use our Wiki alongside protected patient data which cannot be shared publicly. We simply ask that knowledge to be shared back to the community if it is possible and does not conflict with other restrictions. Applications are each subject to their own licenses as individual entities.
